Carnaval Quebec 2013 Rd4-GM Kovalyov(CAN-ARG)

Rd4
GM Kovalyov played a nice positional game to win in unusual fashion against the solid Queen's Gambit Accepted. Kovalyov will be playing for Canada soon, when FIDE completes his transfer from Argentina.

More on Kovalyov

Here is the feature game.

White is well placed for a quiet massage based on better pawn structure. What do you recommend for white?

The feature game was played in the Quebec Winter Carnaval. Winter seems like so much fun.

Rd3
Here is a nice positional game from GM Kovalyov. There are no spectacular tactical blows or attention grabbing attacks so this game might pass unnoticed.
