French Defence Tarrasch Review 2013-06

French Defence Tarrasch Review June 2013-e4ChessNews
A review of 9 interesting recent games that should be of interest to French Defense and 1.e4 players. My favorite games were

  • Game 4-Kamsky's strategic suffocation of Shabalov in the US Ch(1)
  • Game 9-Fedorchuk's technical R-R ending in the Agzamov Memorial(3)
Material usually has background video(s) for example-Tashkent,Uzbekistan.

Game 1
GM Volkov kept pushing his IQP to dominate the position. The ending was not perfect but the French Defence earned a valuable victory.
